The station is powered by a Davis Vantage Pro 2 Wireless weather station. The data is collected every 3 seconds and the site is updated several times per minutes. This site and its data is collected using Weather-Display Software. The station is comprised of an anemometer, a rain gauge and a thermo-hydro sensor situated in optimal positions for highest accuracy possible.

Quartu Sant'Elena (Sardinian: Cuartu Sant'Aleni), located four miles East from Cagliari on the ancient Roman road, is a city and comune in the Province of Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy. It is the third biggest city of Sardinia with a population of 69,225 as of 2012.
